About me

Born and raised in the Netherlands, I studied fashion and art before moving to San Francisco, where I founded my clothing label AnyaSF in 2003. My work has been featured at art and craft shows and sold in galleries and boutiques across the United States. In 2015 I relocated to Joshua Tree, where the desert landscape became a new source of inspiration, and in 2020 I returned to painting and haven't stopped since. Today my AnyaSF collection focuses on one-of-a-kind garments and thoughtfully up-cycled pieces made with individuality, craftsmanship, and sustainability in mind, while my current painting series is dedicated to my beloved dog, Sadie, celebrating her spirit and the joy she brings to my life.
